Ingredients
- 450 g spinach leaves
- 200 g paneer (cubed)
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tomatoes (chopped)
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 cup water
Method
- Wash the spinach leaves thoroughly and boil them in water for about 2 minutes.
- Drain the leaves and immediately transfer them to ice-cold water to preserve the green color.
- Blend the cooled spinach into a smooth paste in a blender.
- Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and chopped onions, and sauté until the onions turn golden brown.
- Stir in ginger-garlic paste, followed by chopped tomatoes. Cook until tomatoes are soft, then add the spinach paste, garam masala, paneer cubes, salt, and water. Simmer for 5 minutes before serving.
