Delicious Palak Paneer Recipe: Easy Spinach And Cheese Delight

Ingredients

  • 450 g spinach leaves
  • 200 g paneer (cubed)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup water

Method

  1. Wash the spinach leaves thoroughly and boil them in water for about 2 minutes.
  2. Drain the leaves and immediately transfer them to ice-cold water to preserve the green color.
  3. Blend the cooled spinach into a smooth paste in a blender.
  4. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and chopped onions, and sauté until the onions turn golden brown.
  5. Stir in ginger-garlic paste, followed by chopped tomatoes. Cook until tomatoes are soft, then add the spinach paste, garam masala, paneer cubes, salt, and water. Simmer for 5 minutes before serving.
