Delicious Osso Buco Recipe With Tangy Apple Relish

Ingredients

– 4 pieces of osso buco (about 1 kg)
– 1 cup of plain flour
– 4 tablespoons of olive oil
– 1 onion, diced
– 2 carrots, diced
– 2 stalks of celery, diced
– 2 cloves of garlic, minced
– 1 can (400 g) of diced tomatoes
– 1 cup of beef stock
– Fresh parsley for garnish

Method

1. Start by preheating your oven to 160°C (320°F).
2. Dust the osso buco pieces in flour and shake off the excess.
3. Heat olive oil in a large oven-proof pot over medium heat. Brown the meat on all sides for about 5 minutes.
4. Add the onion, carrots, celery, and garlic to the pot. Stir and cook for 5 minutes until softened.
5. Pour in the diced tomatoes and beef stock, then cover and bake for 2 hours until the meat is tender.
