Ingredients
– 500 ml cream
– 100 ml milk
– 100 g sugar
– 2 teaspoons gelatine powder
– 2 tablespoons water
– Zest of 1 orange
– Juice of 1 orange
– 250 g blackberries
– 2 tablespoons icing sugar
– Mini meringues (optional)
Method
1. In a small bowl, mix the gelatine powder with water and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
2. Heat cream, milk, and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until it’s warm, but not boiling. Stir constantly.
3. Add the orange zest, juice, and the gelatine mixture to the warm cream. Stir until everything is well mixed.
4. Pour the mixture into serving glasses and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to set.
5. To make the sauce, blend blackberries with icing sugar until smooth. Serve with the panna cotta and add mini meringues on top if desired.
