Ingredients
– 125 g butter, softened
– 100 g brown sugar
– 50 g white sugar
– 1 large egg
– 5 ml vanilla extract
– 150 g plain flour
– 5 g baking soda
– 2 g salt
– 100 g rolled oats
– 150 g chocolate chips
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking tray with baking paper.
2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth.
3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
4. Stir in the flour, baking soda, salt, and oats until everything is mixed. Add the chocolate chips and mix again.
5. Scoop tablespoons of dough onto the prepared tray, spacing them apart. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly golden.
