Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup boiled potatoes, mashed
- ½ cup mixed nuts, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 2 tablespoons fresh coriander, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Water, as needed for dough
- Oil, for cooking
- Butter, for serving
Method
- Combine whole wheat flour and salt in a bowl. Gradually add water and knead into a smooth dough.
- Mix mashed potatoes, chopped nuts, cumin seeds, garam masala, and coriander in another bowl. Prepare small balls from this filling.
- Take a little dough and flatten it into a small disk. Place a filling ball in the center and fold the dough over it, sealing it well.
- Roll the stuffed dough into a thin circle using rolling pin. Repeat the process for remaining dough and filling.
- Heat oil in a pan. Cook each paratha on both sides until golden. Serve hot with butter on top.
