Delicious North Indian Sooji Halwa Recipe For Festivals

Ingredients
1 cup semolina
1 cup sugar
2 cups water
½ cup ghee
½ cup chopped nuts (like almonds and cashews)
1 teaspoon cardamom powder
1 tablespoon raisins
2 tablespoons milk
A pinch of salt

Method
1. Heat the ghee in a pan over medium flame. Add semolina and stir continuously until it turns golden brown.
2. Once the semolina is toasted, add the sugar and mix well.
3. Pour in the water slowly while stirring to avoid lumps. Keep stirring until the mixture thickens.
4. Add cardamom powder, nuts, raisins, and a pinch of salt. Mix everything together until combined.
5. Finally, stir in the milk for creaminess. Serve warm.
