Ingredients
– 500g ground beef
– 1 cup diced onion
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 can (400g) diced tomatoes
– 1 can (400g) red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
– 1 cup beef broth
– 1 tablespoon chili powder
– 1 teaspoon cumin
– Salt to taste
– Pepper to taste
Method
1. Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
2. Stir in the diced onion and minced garlic. Cook for another 5 minutes or until the onion is soft.
3. Add the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, and beef broth to the pot. Mix everything well.
4. Sprinkle in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat. Let it simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
