Delicious Nagori Puri Recipe: Crispy Semolina Fried Bread

Ingredients

– 1 cup semolina
– 1/4 cup plain flour
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
– 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
– 1 tablespoon oil
– 1/2 cup warm water
– Oil for frying
– A pinch of sugar
– Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Method

1. Combine semolina, plain flour, salt, baking soda, and cumin seeds in a bowl.
2. Stir in the oil and mix well until crumbly.
3. Gradually add warm water while kneading the mixture into a smooth dough.
4. Let the dough rest for around 20 minutes, covered with a cloth.
5. Roll small portions of dough into thin circles. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the puris until they puff up and turn golden brown.
