Ingredients
500 g button mushrooms, sliced
2 cups vegetable broth
2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup milk
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tsp dried thyme
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Method
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; cook until soft.
Stir in the sliced mushrooms and dried thyme; cook until lightly browned.
Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a simmer.
Whisk together the milk and flour until smooth, then add this mixture to the pot. Stir until the stew thickens.
