Ingredients
– 1 cup mixed lentils (like red and yellow)
– ½ cup rice
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
– 1 green chili, chopped
– 1 small onion, finely chopped
– 2 tablespoons coriander leaves, chopped
– Oil for cooking
Method
1. Rinse the mixed lentils and rice in water. Soak them in water for at least 4 hours.
2. Drain the soaked mixture and blend it into a smooth batter, adding some water if needed.
3. Stir in salt, cumin seeds, green chili, onion, and coriander leaves into the batter.
4. Heat a non-stick pan and lightly grease it with oil. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it into a circle.
5. Cook until the dosa is golden brown on both sides. Serve with chutney or sambar.
