Delicious Mississippi Pot Roast Recipe: Easy Slow Cooker Dinner

Ingredients

– 1.5 kg beef chuck roast
– 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
– 1 packet au jus seasoning mix
– 250 ml pepperoncini juice
– 6 to 8 whole pepperoncini peppers
– 60 g unsalted butter
– 1 cup sliced mushrooms
– 1 cup baby carrots
– 1 cup diced potatoes (optional)
– Salt and pepper to taste

Method

1. Place the beef roast in a slow cooker.
2. Sprinkle ranch seasoning and au jus seasoning over the meat.
3. Pour pepperoncini juice around the roast, then add whole pepperoncini.
4. Add butter on top, along with the sliced mushrooms, baby carrots, and diced potatoes if using.
5. Cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
