Ingredients
– 250 g butter, softened
– 3 cups sugar
– 6 large eggs
– 1 cup milk
– 3 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
– 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 160°C. Grease and flour a loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until fluffy.
3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. Stir in milk and vanilla. Gradually blend in flour, baking powder, and salt.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 1 hour or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
