– 60 g butter

– 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (optional)

Method

1. Start by washing the potatoes thoroughly. Cut them into even-sized pieces for faster cooking.
2. Place the potatoes in a large pot, cover with water, and add a pinch of salt. Boil on high heat.
3. Once boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for about 15 minutes or until fork-tender. Drain the potatoes well.
4. Return the potatoes to the pot, then add the butter and milk. Use a masher or fork to mash until smooth.
5. Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste. If using parsley, mix it in before serving.
