Ingredients
– 2 cups of all-purpose flour
– 1 tablespoon of sugar
– 1 teaspoon of salt
– 1 packet of dry yeast
– 3/4 cup of warm water
– 1/4 cup of unsalted butter
– 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
– 1/2 cup of maple syrup
– 2 tablespoons of milk
Method
1. Combine the warm water, sugar, and dry yeast in a bowl. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
2. In a large mixing bowl, add flour and salt. Pour in the yeast mixture along with melted butter. Mix until a dough forms.
3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Place it in a greased bowl and cover with a cloth. Let it rise for an hour.
4. Roll the dough out into a rectangle. Spread melted butter on top and sprinkle cinnamon. Roll it up tightly and cut into equal pieces.
5. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish. Drizzle with maple syrup and milk. Bake at 180°C for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
