Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Method
1. Combine brown sugar, maple syrup, milk, and butter in a medium saucepan.
2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture reaches a boil.
3. Let it boil for 3-4 minutes without stirring.
4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract, salt, and nuts if using.
5. Pour the mixture into a greased tray. Allow it to cool completely before cutting into squares.
