Ingredients

– 2 ripe mangoes, diced
– 1 tablespoon oil
– 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
– 1 teaspoon urad dal
– 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
– 1 teaspoon red chili powder
– 2 green chilies, slit
– 100 ml water
– Salt to taste
– Fresh coriander leaves, chopped

Method

1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
2. Add mustard seeds and let them pop.
3. Stir in urad dal, and sauté until golden brown.
4. Mix in the turmeric powder, red chili powder, and green chilies.
5. Add the diced mangoes, water, and salt. Cook for 5 minutes and garnish with coriander leaves.
