Delicious Layered Thai Basil Tofu Rice Recipe For Easy Cooking

Ingredients

– 400g firm tofu, cubed
– 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 red bell pepper, sliced
– 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
– 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
– 1 tablespoon sugar
– 1 lime, cut into wedges

Method

1. Start by heating the vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
2. Add minced garlic and red bell pepper to the pan. Cook for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
3. Stir in the cubed tofu and cook for around 5 minutes until golden.
4. Mix in soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and cooked rice. Stir everything together and cook for another 2 minutes.
5. Remove from heat and fold in the fresh Thai basil leaves. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
