Ingredients
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 500 g ground beef
– 1 onion, chopped
– 2 garlic cloves, minced
– 1 can (400 g) crushed tomatoes
– 4 cups beef broth
– 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
– 2 cups uncooked pasta
– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Method
1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
2. Stir in the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is soft.
3. Pour in the crushed tomatoes and beef broth. Add dried Italian herbs and bring the mixture to a boil.
4. Mix in the uncooked pasta and reduce the heat. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes or until the pasta is tender.
5. Serve the soup in bowls topped with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
