– 120 ml soy sauce
– 60 ml water
– 60 ml sugar
– 30 ml sesame oil

– 2 green onions, chopped
– 1 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Method
1. Start by mixing the soy sauce, water, sugar, and sesame oil in a large bowl.
2. Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green onions, and black pepper to the mixture. Stir well.
3. Place the short ribs in the bowl, ensuring they are fully coated in the marinade. Cover the bowl and let it sit for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the fridge.
4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the ribs from the marinade and shake off excess liquid.
5. Grill the short ribs for about 5 to 7 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your liking. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the ribs before serving.
