Delicious Kinamatisang Baboy Recipe: A Flavorful Pork Dish

Ingredients

  • 500 g pork, cut into cubes
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup vegetables (such as eggplant, string beans, or carrots)
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil

Method

  1. Heat the oil in a pot over medium heat. Sauté the garlic and onion until fragrant.
  2. Add the chopped tomatoes and continue cooking until they soften.
  3. Stir in the pork and cook until it is browned on all sides.
  4. Add water, fish sauce, salt, and pepper. Let this simmer until the pork becomes tender.
  5. Mix in the vegetables and cook for another 5 to 10 minutes until they are done. Serve hot with rice.
