Delicious Kadali Bhanda O Chingudi Tarkari: Odia Prawn Curry Recipe

Ingredients

– 1 medium banana blossom (finely chopped)
– 200 g prawns (peeled and deveined)
– 1 medium onion (finely sliced)
– 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
– 2 green chilies (slit)
– 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
– 1 teaspoon red chili powder
– 1 tablespoon mustard oil
– Salt to taste
– Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)

Method

1. Heat the mustard oil in a pan over medium heat.
2. Add the sliced onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
3. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies; cook for a couple of minutes.
4. Mix in the turmeric powder and red chili powder, followed by the chopped banana blossom.
5. Add the prawns and season with salt, cooking until the prawns are pink and fully cooked. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
