Ingredients
– 1 frozen beef pot roast (about 1 kg)
– 250 ml beef broth
– 1 large onion, chopped
– 3 garlic cloves, minced
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 2 teaspoons dried thyme
– 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
– 4 medium carrots, cut into chunks
– 4 medium potatoes, chopped
– Salt and pepper to taste
Method
1. Pour the beef broth into the Instant Pot.
2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic on top of the liquid.
3. Place the frozen pot roast in the pot and sprinkle the thyme, paprika, soy sauce, salt, and pepper evenly over it.
4. Layer the chopped carrots and potatoes around the roast.
5. Lock the lid and set the pressure cooker to cook on high for 60 minutes. Allow natural release for 15 minutes before opening it.
