Delicious Hummus With Spiced Lamb: A Flavorful Recipe Guide

Ingredients

– 1 cup dried chickpeas
– 1 teaspoon baking soda
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 2 teaspoons ground cumin
– 250g lamb mince
– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
– 1 cup tahini
– 0.5 cup fresh lemon juice
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– Salt and pepper to taste

Method

1. Soak the chickpeas overnight in water. Drain and rinse them the next day.
2. Place chickpeas in a pot with baking soda and cover with water. Bring to a boil and then simmer for about 30 minutes until soft.
3. In a skillet, heat olive oil. Add lamb mince, cumin, and cinnamon. Cook until the lamb is browned and crumbly.
4. Blend cooked chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, and garlic in a food processor. Add salt and pepper to taste, and mix until smooth.
5. Serve hummus topped with the spiced lamb mixture.
