Ingredients
– 1 kg crabs, cleaned and halved
– 2 tbsp vegetable oil
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 pieces ginger, finely chopped
– 1/4 cup tomato sauce
– 1/4 cup soy sauce
– 1/4 cup honey
– 1 tsp chili powder
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1/4 cup chopped spring onions for garnish
Method
1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped ginger. Cook until fragrant.
2. Place the crab pieces in the pan. Stir gently to combine them with the garlic and ginger. Cook for a few minutes until they start to turn orange.
3. Combine the tomato sauce, soy sauce, honey, chili powder, and salt in a bowl. Mix well and then pour it over the crabs in the pan.
4. Simmer the crabs in the sauce for about 10-15 minutes. Stir occasionally to coat them evenly.
5. Serve the crabs hot, garnished with chopped spring onions. Enjoy with rice or bread.
