Delicious Homemade Vegan Nutella: Sugar-Free Recipe Guide

Ingredients

– 1 cup hazelnuts
– 1/4 cup cocoa powder
– 1/4 cup maple syrup
– 1/2 cup almond milk
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 2 tablespoons coconut oil
– 1 tablespoon nut butter
– 1 tablespoon sweetener (optional)
– 1/2 cup coconut sugar (optional)

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Spread hazelnuts on a baking sheet and roast them for about 10-15 minutes until golden.
2. Once roasted, let the hazelnuts cool down. Then rub them in a clean kitchen towel to remove most of the skins.
3. Place the hazelnuts in a blender. Add cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract, salt, and coconut oil.
4. Blend the mixture until it becomes smooth and creamy. You may need to scrape down the sides occasionally.
5. For extra flavor, add nut butter and sweetener if desired. Blend again until well mixed.
