Ingredients
– 500g ground beef
– 250g ground pork
– 1 small onion, chopped
– 1 egg
– 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
– 1/2 cup milk
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1/4 tsp pepper
– 1 tbsp olive oil
– 2 cups beef broth
Method
1. Combine the ground beef, ground pork, onion, egg, breadcrumbs, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well until combined.
2. Shape the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the meatballs until browned on all sides.
4. Pour the beef broth into the skillet with the meatballs. Bring it to a simmer and let cook for about 10 minutes.
5. Serve the meatballs hot with your favorite side dish.
