Ingredients
500 g sausage meat
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 sheet puff pastry
1 egg, beaten
Salt and pepper to taste
Flour for dusting
Sesame seeds for topping
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, mix together the sausage meat, chopped onion, garlic, thyme, Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper.
3. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut it into rectangles, about 10 cm x 15 cm in size.
4. Place a portion of the sausage mixture onto one half of each pastry rectangle. Brush the edges with the beaten egg.
5. Fold the pastry over and press the edges to seal. Place on the baking tray, brush the tops with egg, and sprinkle sesame seeds. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
