Delicious Homemade Patty Melt Recipe: Classic Comfort Food

Ingredients
500 g minced beef
1 small onion, diced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
8 slices of bread
250 g shredded cheese
Butter, for grilling

Method
1. Heat a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until soft.
2. Stir in the minced beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the meat is browned and cooked through.
3. Remove the beef mix from the pan and set it aside. Wipe the pan clean.
4. Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place one slice, butter-side down, in the pan. Add a portion of the beef mixture and top with shredded cheese.
5. Place another slice of bread on top, butter-side up. Grill until golden brown on both sides and the cheese melts. Repeat for the remaining sandwiches.
