Ingredients
– 400 ml tomato puree
– 60 ml apple cider vinegar
– 50 g brown sugar
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– ½ teaspoon ground mustard
– ½ teaspoon allspice
– ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Method
1. Pour the tomato puree into a saucepan over medium heat.
2. Stir in the apple cider vinegar and brown sugar until well mixed.
3. Add all remaining ingredients to the saucepan.
4. Cook the mixture for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Allow the ketchup to cool before transferring it to a jar.
