Ingredients
– 500 g plain flour
– 10 g salt
– 7 g dried yeast
– 400 ml warm water
– 50 ml olive oil
– 1 tsp sugar
– Fresh rosemary sprigs
– Coarse sea salt
Method
1. In a large bowl, mix flour and salt together.
2. In a separate small bowl, dissolve the sugar and yeast in warm water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
3. Pour the yeast mixture and olive oil into the flour. Stir until a dough forms.
4. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes. Place it in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm spot for 1 hour.
5. After dough has risen, spread it out on a baking tray. Dimple the surface with your fingers. Sprinkle with rosemary and coarse salt before baking at 220°C for 20 minutes.
