Ingredients

Method
1. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
2. Pour in the milk and cream, then stir to combine all the ingredients thoroughly.
3. Add the vanilla extract and ground cinnamon, mixing well to incorporate the flavors.
4. If you want an alcoholic version, slowly stir in the bourbon or rum.
5. Chill the eggnog in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Serve in glasses and sprinkle fresh grated nutmeg on top.
