Delicious Homemade Crab Cakes Recipe: Easy & Flavorful Tips

Ingredients

– 500 g crab meat, cooked and shredded
– 1 cup breadcrumbs
– 1/2 cup mayonnaise
– 1/4 cup chopped spring onions
– 1/4 cup chopped red capsicum
– 2 eggs, beaten
– 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
– 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
– 1 teaspoon lemon juice
– Oil for frying

Method

1. In a large bowl, mix together the crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, spring onions, and red capsicum until combined.
2. Stir in the beaten eggs, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice. Combine well.
3. Shape the mixture into patties, about 5 cm wide. Place them on a plate.
4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
5. Remove the cakes from the pan and drain on paper towels before serving.
