Ingredients
– 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
– 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
– 1 cup chicken broth
– 1 cup milk
– 1/4 cup butter
– 1/4 cup plain flour
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– 2 sheets puff pastry
– Salt and pepper to taste
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
2. Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add flour and stir constantly for about 1 minute.
3. Slowly pour in chicken broth and milk, stirring until the mixture thickens. Then mix in chicken, vegetables, garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
4. Roll out one sheet of puff pastry and place it in a pie dish. Pour the chicken mixture into the pastry.
5. Cover with the second sheet of pastry. Seal the edges and cut slits in the top. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
