Ingredients
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons of cold water
- Extra shredded cheese for topping (optional)
- Extra salt for sprinkling (optional)
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, paprika, and garlic powder. Stir those ingredients well.
3. Add the shredded cheese and butter, then mix until the mixture resembles small crumbs.
4. Pour in the cold water gradually, mixing until a dough forms. If the dough feels too dry, add a tiny bit more water.
5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 0.5 cm thick. Cut into small squares, place them on the baking sheet, and sprinkle additional cheese and salt on top if desired. Bake for 15 minutes or until crispy.
