Ingredients
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 500 g ground beef
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 celery stalk, diced
- 400 g canned diced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 250 ml beef broth
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Heat a large pan over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and cook until it becomes soft.
- Mix in minced garlic, followed by ground beef. Brown the meat completely.
- Stir in carrot and celery, then add diced tomatoes, tomato paste, broth, and oregano.
- Simmer for 30 minutes. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
