Ingredients
– 2 cups rolled oats
– 4 cups water or milk
– 1 cup diced apples

Method
1. Combine the oats, water or milk, and salt in a medium pot.
2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
3. Lower the heat and stir in the diced apples, cinnamon, honey or maple syrup, raisins, and vanilla.
4. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until the oats reach the desired consistency.
5. Serve warm, topped with your choice of berries and nuts if desired.
