Ingredients
– 225 g unsalted butter, melted
– 1 cup brown sugar
– 1 cup plain flour
– 1 large egg
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 2 cups chocolate chips
– 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
– 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
– A pinch of salt
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C. Grease a baking dish or line it with baking paper.
2. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, stirring until well combined.
4. Gradually incorporate the flour and salt, mixing just until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips, coconut, and nuts if using.
5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
