Ingredients
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 1 onion, diced
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 500 g ground turkey
– 1 can (400 g) diced tomatoes
– 1 can (400 g) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
– 1 can (400 g) black beans, drained and rinsed
– 1 tablespoon chili powder
– 1 teaspoon cumin
– 1 cup chicken broth
Method
1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add the diced onion and sauté until it becomes soft.
3. Stir in the garlic and cook for an additional minute.
4. Toss in the ground turkey, breaking it apart as it cooks until it is no longer pink.
5. Mix in the diced tomatoes, both types of beans, chili powder, cumin, and chicken broth. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes.
