Ingredients
– 2 ripe bananas
– 1 cup rolled oats
– 1/4 cup almond butter
– 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
– 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 cup chocolate chips
– 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
3. Stir in rolled oats, almond butter, honey or maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt until combined.
4. Add the chocolate chips and nuts if using, then mix well again.
5. Scoop tablespoons of the mixture onto the prepared tray and flatten them slightly. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden.
