Ingredients
- 500 g minced beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Method
- Combine minced beef, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well and shape into four patties.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side or until browned and cooked through.
- Remove patties from the skillet and set aside on a plate. Reserve the drippings in the skillet.
- Sprinkle flour over the drippings and stir for one minute. Gradually add beef broth, stirring until the sauce thickens.
- Add the patties back to the skillet with the gravy and simmer for another 5 minutes. Serve warm.
