Ingredients
– 500 g ground beef
– 1 medium onion, chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 250 g mushrooms, sliced
– 1 cup beef broth
– 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
– 1 cup sour cream
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
– Salt and pepper to taste
Method
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until it becomes soft, about 3-4 minutes.
2. Stir in minced garlic and sliced mushrooms. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, until mushrooms are tender.
3. Add the ground beef into the skillet. Cook until it is browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess grease if needed.
4. Sprinkle flour over the beef mixture. Stir well, then add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Let it simmer for 5-7 minutes.
5. Remove from heat and mix in sour cream. Season with salt and pepper. Serve over rice or pasta.
