Ingredients
– 1 cup green olives, pitted
– 1 clove garlic, minced
– 1 tablespoon capers, drained
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
– 1/4 cup olive oil
– 1 tablespoon water
– Fresh baguette for serving
Method
1. Place the olives, garlic, capers, lemon juice, parsley, black pepper, and red pepper flakes into a food processor.
2. Pulse the mixture until it is roughly chopped, but not pureed.
3. With the food processor running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until blended.
4. Add water to adjust the consistency to your liking and blend a bit more.
5. Serve by spreading tapenade on slices of fresh baguette.
