Green Bean Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
500 g fresh green beans, trimmed
1 medium onion, diced
250 g mushrooms, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
300 ml cream
1 cup vegetable broth
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp black pepper
1 cup fried onion pieces
1 cup grated cheese
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
2. Blanch the green beans in boiling water for about 3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
3. In a large skillet, sauté onions, garlic, and mushrooms until they are soft.
4. Add the cream, vegetable broth, soy sauce, and black pepper to the skillet. Mix well and bring to a simmer.
5. Combine green beans and cheese into the mixture. Transfer to a baking dish and top with fried onions. Bake for 25 minutes.
