Ingredients
– 500 g green beans, trimmed
– 1 small onion, chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 200 ml vegetable broth
– 250 ml cream
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 100 g breadcrumbs
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 1 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 teaspoon salt
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
2. Boil water in a large pot, then add the green beans and cook for 5 minutes. Drain the beans and set aside.
3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until soft.
4. Stir in vegetable broth, cream, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook this mixture for about 5 minutes.
5. Combine the green beans with the sauce, then transfer to a baking dish. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
