Ingredients
– 2 cups of milk (dairy or non-dairy)
– 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup
– 1 pinch of black pepper
– 1 pinch of sea salt
– 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder (optional)
– Whipped cream or coconut cream (for topping, optional)
Method
1. Start by heating the milk in a small saucepan on the stove over medium heat.
2. Add turmeric powder, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, honey or maple syrup, black pepper, sea salt, and ginger powder if using. Stir well.
3. Continue to whisk the mixture until it is warm but not boiling.
4. Remove the saucepan from heat. Pour the golden latte into mugs.
5. Top with whipped cream or coconut cream if desired before serving.
