Ingredients
- 1 French baguette
- 200 g goat cheese
- 100 g prosciutto
- 1 cup fresh figs, sliced
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Fresh thyme leaves, for garnish
- Balsamic glaze, for drizzling (optional)
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200°C. Slice the baguette into 1 cm pieces.
- Place the bread slices on a baking sheet. Brush them lightly with olive oil.
- Toast the bread in the oven for about 5–7 minutes or until golden brown.
- Spread goat cheese onto each toasted slice. Top with prosciutto and fig slices.
- Drizzle honey over the crostini. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and thyme leaves. Add balsamic glaze if desired.
