Delicious Goat Cheese, Fig, And Prosciutto Crostini Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 French baguette
  • 200 g goat cheese
  • 100 g prosciutto
  • 1 cup fresh figs, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh thyme leaves, for garnish
  • Balsamic glaze, for drizzling (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Slice the baguette into 1 cm pieces.
  2. Place the bread slices on a baking sheet. Brush them lightly with olive oil.
  3. Toast the bread in the oven for about 5–7 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Spread goat cheese onto each toasted slice. Top with prosciutto and fig slices.
  5. Drizzle honey over the crostini. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and thyme leaves. Add balsamic glaze if desired.
