– 3 ripe bananas

– 60 ml vegetable oil

– 1 teaspoon baking soda
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 50 g chopped nuts (optional)
– 50 g dark chocolate chips (optional)

Method

1. Preheat your oven to 175°C and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
3. Stir in the egg, honey, oil, and vanilla until well combined.
4. Add the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until everything blends together.
5. Fold in nuts or chocolate chips if you’re using them, then scoop the mixture into the muffin tin. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
