Ingredients
– 250 ml warm water
– 75 g cocoa powder
– 1 1/2 cups plain flour
– 2 cups sugar
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 1/2 tsp baking soda
– 1/2 tsp baking powder
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 4 large eggs
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C. Grease a large baking sheet.
2. In a bowl, mix warm water with cocoa powder until smooth. Set aside.
3. Combine sugar and butter in a mixing bowl. Beat together until creamy. Add eggs one at a time. Mix well after each addition.
4. Pour in the cocoa mixture with vanilla extract. Add the dry ingredients, mixing thoroughly until a smooth batter forms.
5. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
