Delicious Garlic Naan Recipe: Easy Homemade Indian Bread

Ingredients

– 3 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon sugar
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– 1 cup warm water (about 40°C)
– 2 tablespoons yogurt
– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 tablespoons fresh coriander, chopped
– Extra flour for dusting

Method

1. Mix flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder in a large bowl.
2. Add yogurt and warm water to the dry ingredients. Stir until a dough forms.
3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
4. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise for 1 hour.
5. Divide dough into balls. Roll out each ball into a flat circle. Cook in a heated pan for 1-2 minutes per side. Brush with oil and sprinkle with garlic and coriander before serving.
