Garlic and Black Pepper Beef Skewers
Ingredients
– 500 g beef sirloin, cut into 2.5 cm pieces
– 1/4 cup soy sauce
– 1/4 cup olive oil
– 1 tablespoon minced garlic
– 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
– 1 tablespoon brown sugar
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
– Bamboo skewers (soaked in water)
Method
1. Combine soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, black pepper, brown sugar, salt, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
2. Add the beef pieces to the marinade and mix well. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
4. Thread the marinated beef onto the soaked bamboo skewers.
5. Grill the skewers for about 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked to your preference.
